Nawaz Sharif is Return Back Home Land
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has returned to his homeland after a four-year absence and is currently addressing a gathering at Lahore's iconic Minar-e-Pakistan.
During his rally, Nawaz Sharif expressed his enduring connection with the nation, emphasizing that his ties with the people remain as strong as they were when he left the country.
Nawaz also spoke about the sacrifices he made for his political career, revealing that he lost his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz, to the world of politics. He also mentioned the personal hardships he endured, including the loss of his mother and wife during the period when he was embroiled in legal disputes.
In his speech, Nawaz Sharif highlighted his achievements during his time in office. He proudly pointed out that he provided affordable electricity to the people of Pakistan and played a crucial role in making the nation a nuclear power. Additionally, he took credit for putting an end to the issue of load shedding in the country.
Addressing concerns about rising inflation, Nawaz Sharif pointed out that during his tenure, a roti (bread) was priced at Rs4, whereas it now costs Rs20. He also promised to take measures to revitalize Pakistan's economy.
Nawaz Sharif's return to Lahore was a significant moment in Pakistani politics. He arrived at Lahore after a chartered plane journey from Islamabad, accompanied by party supporters, leaders, and journalists. His return was warmly welcomed by his brother, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, along with other prominent party leaders such as Hamza Shehbaz and Rana Sanaullah. This event marks a pivotal moment in Pakistan's political landscape as Nawaz Sharif stages his return to the city and prepares for his rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.
